Very pretty and large park that's close by the residential areas with easy to walk trails. You can probably park somewhere other than the lot to avoid the $3 parking. Also, the trail that runs by Oso Parkway is under construction so I recommend taking the one that looks like it leads into the center of the park.

It's open until sunset, I believe, despite the parking passes saying 5:30 PM. Of course, if you park outside of the lot I don't think it matters much.

Had a great walk here the other day and was able to get out of the sight line of houses and enjoy the natural surroundings for a bit. The park is small, relatively unknown and gets little traffic. The park has almost finished a new entrance that will make it more accessible and visible from the road.
